Which areas do you cover?
Chequered Flag Driving School provides driving lessons in north Cardiff and Caerphilly and the surrounding areas of South Wales. We offer pick-up and drop-off at your home, school, college or workplace.
How many driving lessons will I need to pass?
The DVSA reports that learners take an average of about 45 hours of professional lessons plus 22 hours of private practice to pass. The exact number depends on your starting confidence, how often you practise and how quickly you build the required skills - your instructor will give you an honest assessment after your first few lessons.
What cars do you teach in?
Lessons are taught in dual-controlled, air-conditioned Seat Ibiza and Volkswagen Golf cars. If you have a specific vehicle preference, ask when booking and we will advise on the best fit.
Are your instructors qualified and DBS-checked?
