Chequered Flag Driving School offers driving lessons in north Cardiff and Caerphilly with a reputation for a professional, yet relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to learn to drive. We provide top-quality tuition across the area. Making mistakes is part of the learning process, so when you do make a mistake, don’t worry - it’s probably nothing we haven’t seen before. It’s important to have a friendly, encouraging and professional instructor, and our instructors offer all of these qualities. We’ll explain where you went wrong and give you encouragement at the same time, keeping learning as easy as possible.

Qualified, regulated and DBS-checked
All of our instructors are fully qualified and regulated by the DVSA (Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency) and, for your peace of mind, have undergone an enhanced criminal records (DBS) check. Your lessons are always one-to-one and private.
Our cars
We teach in modern Seat Ibiza and Volkswagen Golf cars, both air-conditioned and fitted with dual controls - so you can learn safely and comfortably from your very first lesson.
